Jos Berière (39) is currently strategic business developer within KPN responsible for 5G. In that capacity he has setup a 5G fieldlab with Shell & City of Amsterdam. Also he has been responsible for the recent launch of 5G new portfolio which was praised by Omdia & Globaldata: “the launch of 5G by KPN is a great example for other European operators….. KPN has demonstrated a smarter approach to enterprise 5G compared to other operators and is leading on quality”.

He has a long track record in business development & strategic pilots including small cells, standardization of indoor DAS, mission critical push to talk & broadband services on both private and public networks (Police, Defense, Public Transport, Rotterdam Harbor, EU2016, World Trade Center, ..)

Previously, he was responsible for the preparation and execution of spectrum auctions (2600MHz, multiband, DTT) , and procurement of 2G-3G network equipment and next generation indoor solutions.
