Colin Evison

Colin Evison, Head of Innovation at BAM Nuttall, was instrumental in setting up the BAM led consortium that was successful in Round 2 of the DCMS 5G Create competition. In collaboration with BRE and AttoCore the 5G-AMC2 (Accelerate Maximise Create for Construction) project is currently designing two private 5G networks in preparation for deployment in early Summer 2021 at BAM Nuttall’s Scotland base in Kilsyth and at a construction project in Shetland. The team have identified five exemplars which seek to take advantage of the 5G network capability and aim to improve productivity in the construction sector.
